记者从铁路12306科创中心获悉，自1月10日零时起，铁路12306手机客户端推出春运期间学生、务工人员专区预约购票功能，符合条件的旅客朋友可通过12306手机客户端专区预约购买春运期间往返火车票，这是铁路12306保障春运重点群体出行的便民举措。
铁路12306科创中心相关负责人介绍，为认真贯彻落实党中央国务院关于做好2024年元旦春节期间有关工作的要求，保障学生、务工人员等重点群体春运出行，铁路12306创新服务举措，为学生、务工人员推出了售票服务专区。自1月10日起，符合条件的学生旅客(已通过学生优惠资质核验且有剩余优惠乘车次数)可通过“学生寒假订票专项服务”专区预约购买春运期间(1月26日至3月5日)火车票，每名旅客最多可同时提交6个预约订单，每个订单可添加1个乘车日期的20个“车次+席别”的组合，可选席别为学生优惠票适用的硬座、硬卧、二等座。已通过实名制核验的务工人员可通过“务工人员春运预约订票服务”专区预约购买春运期间火车票，每名旅客可同时提交6个预约订单，每个订单可选择“时间+车次+席别”的1个组合。
学生、务工人员通过铁路12306专区购买春运期间火车票，可提交开车前17天(含)以上的出行购票需求，最晚可预约3月5日的车票。符合条件的旅客朋友可在开车前17天23时前在12306手机客户端提交购票需求，在开车前16天查询兑现结果，须在开车前第16天23时前，通过12306手机客户端预约专区支付票款，逾期未支付的，订单自动取消；兑现成功后逾期未支付达到5次的，不再提供预约购票服务。
